Poll Iù Pilsner is a craft lager influenced by the original continental lagers. Strong and crisp with subtle flavours from the continental hop varieties used. Poolewe is an important historic village set on the River Ewe where the river meets loch ewe. Not only can historic relics be traced back to the Picts, but important modern history also exists. From the sub-tropical gardens at Inverewe built by Osgood Mackenzie in the 1800s to the second world war heritage, including an army officer cadet training base run by Lord Rowallan who later became a significant figure in the scout movement.
Hopped with Mittlefruh and Tettnanger

500ml bottle from Old Inn, Gairloch - Hazy amber body, short head. Floral sweetness from the hops with and underlying nice malty sweetness. Very easy drinking.
