Longa Nights porter is a complex ale. It has been inspired to warm the long winter nights of wester ross and longa island situated off the beautiful town of Gairloch. The drink is designed as a winter comforting ale full of malty, chocolatey notes and a smooth finish. It is said the name Longa Island is derived from the word for long-ship. It is believed that the Norse men used the island for mooring and storing their longboats.
Hopped with Cluster, Columbus and Endevour
Smooth, chocolate, coffee and a very well-balanced porter. Very easy drinking yet with deep, robust flavours from the roasted barley and chocolate malts. The addition of Torrefied Wheat in the mash really helps with the luxurious mouthfeel without compromising on the light character.
