Flavors of raisin, bittersweet chocolate, and black plums generously flow through this medium bodied Doppelbock. Sample at the taproom. Clear dark reddish-mahogany color with a medium light beige head that recedes steadily to an outer ring. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of malt, dark fruit, caramel and hops. Medium body with flavors of caramel malt, dark fruit and earthy hops. The finish is sweet with a malty aftertaste. Above average overall.
