Deep red to garnet in appearance with effervescence and a slight haze. Pronounced aromas of fresh berries underscored by more subtle notes of wheat and yeast. Bold flavors of blackberry, raspberry, and subtle hints of pear and lemon meld seamlessly into the tart background. Light bodied and crisp finishing.

Sample at the taproom. The beer is a cloudy purple-maroon color with a medium pinkish-white head that burns away steadily to a dense film. Sticky strings of lace. Aroma of berry, citrus and wheat. Light body with a sweet-tart blackberry character and flavors of citrus, wheat and doughy malt. The finish is fruity with a blackberry aftertaste. Decent overall.
