This Irish stout poured a deep black colour with a creamy, tan coloured head. Nice lacing. Scents include roasted malts, nuts, minimal alcohol, coffee and Melloids cough drops. First swig was incredibly smooth and creamy with flavours of coffee, dark toast, caramel, cream and a little cocoa. Finish is burnt with dark roasted coffee flavours lingering.

on tap at smokeless joes. Nitro pour, aroma of smokey roasty malts, with next to no hops. Pretty basic stout, nothing fancy, but i wouldnt see ordering it again..

On tap at Bar Hop TO. Black beer lasting cream tan head. Some roast some chocolate. Smooth in the mouth. Lower carbonation . Not too hoppy but a little dryness on finish. Good creamy chocolate. Fine.

From tap. Pours hazy dark brown to black with a small tan head. Aroma is roasted malty. Slight caramelish. Toasted malty and slight caramelish. Toasted and light breadish finish.

County Durham Blak Katt on nitro (4.8%) at Bar Hop Brewco. Deep black, beige head, Ruby highlights. Roasty chocolate aroma and a nice nutty, chocolate and toasted oats flavor though the nitro seemed a bit subdued to me.

Draught at The Queen and Beaver Public House, Toronto
Black color with creamy head, probably they use some nitrogen. It has a light aroma of roasted malt. Smooth mouthfeel, with nice flavor of roasted malt and dark chocolate; quite dry, but rich as well.
Very good Stout, well balanced.

This one smells like a dry stout. Pours black as night. Smells like some roasted malt, light. Great lacing - a solid blanket of foam. Taste is pretty light, a bit watery. Has some smokiness and a little roast. It’s pretty one-dimensional. On tap at barVolo.

Draught at C’est What? in Toronto. Black (obviously) with a large thickly packed light tan creamy head. Hershey bar aroma. Flavor of chocolate and roasted coffee, with a bitter finish. Very weak body, the only downside to an otherwise nice brew. Overall acceptable but not stellar.

A clear dark brown porter with a thick silky moka head. A pleasant moka coffee aroma, a bit chalky. In mouth, a light silky chocolate with roasted coffee, powdery, light but good. On tap at Victory Café, March 22, 2009.
