Bottle shared at RBESG16 thanks to Sigmund. Very hazy golden with white head. Lots sweet grains, peach, light marzipan, spicy yeast. Medium sweet and light bitter. Medium bodied. Not really a saison but a decent Belgian style ale.

750mL bottle from cogo, shared on 5/21/16, thanks!
Big, foamy/rocky, white head showing strong retention, tops a fiery-tinged golden body that shows good clarity, leaving the sediment behind.
Hugely estery nose shows off apple, strawberry and other common Belgian esters with a strong white pepper and mild clove character as well. A bit forceful, and added to this you get a very bready malt character that shows huge hay, light sourdough and lots of biscuit. No alcohol or flaw.
Tight carbonation stems from the obvious unfiltered/bottle conditioned nature of the beer and there’s moderate attenuation leaving behind more fruitiness, pepper and dry clove. Hugely bready-to-nutty malt flavors quickly fatigue the palate and there’s only a smattering of dusty, vaguely lemony hop notes to try to brighten things.

Bottle supplied by ClarkVV, dude, much thanks. Aroma is straw, weak generic yeast. Pale malt.
Flavor is pretty much as generic as it smells. Lots of malt, sweet bready notes, weak floral notes. Body is yeasty and bready. Mouthfeel is not what I want in the style. Wouldn’t have again even if offered.
