Originally brewed on October 25th to commemorate the Charge of the Light Brigade. Don’t be fooled by the strength, this is one easy drinking beer. A rich, sweet barley wine with a heady, alcoholic nose and incredibly complex flavour profile. Brewed since 1994 by appointment to the Queens Royal Lancers. Now brewed in January and matured for 11 months to be sold over Christmas and New Year. The prolonged storage provides an extremely drinkable ale for its strength. A strong, dark aromatic and estery barley wine.
