Our Downtown Taproom neighbors over at Guru Donuts gave us bags full of maple bars to have some fun with. We loaded them into the mash tun with Mecca Grade Estate Malt to create our newest batch of imperial stout. We also added a dash of milk sugar and vanilla to emulate the creamy sweetness of maple bars. The beer was then aged in freshly poured Bourbon barrels and finished with extra maple syrup at the end.
