In the pursuit of enhancing a bourbon barrel-aged barleywine, we embarked on a captivating journey of secondary barrel-aging in ex-mead barrels. These barrels had once cradled the rich Bourbon BA Bumfuzzle mead from Marlobobo. Our vision was to unite the luscious mead essence and lively fruit notes with the intricate flavors of the barleywine. There only exists one single barrel of this very exclusive beer.
