Parallax is an American style barleywine aged in Westland Distilling American Single-Malt Whiskey Barrels. Each barrel has a unique character due to natural differences in wood, different char levels, and the varieties of spirits that were previously matured inside. For this release, we blended barleywine aged in Westland barrels that previously held Kentucky bourbon and Rye whiskies. The oak, vanilla, and spice flavors from these barrels stand up to and balances the intense malt of the barleywine.
