2022 release: Skeleton Key is an imperial stout aged for just over a year in rum barrels, with a mix of cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg, anise, cardamom, all spice, and vanilla. The resulting beer is an intense showcase of dark chocolate, caramelized malts, spirit barrel, and lively spices. This 2022 variant has been conditioned on pineapple and coconut.

2024: Released annually, Skeleton Key is our rhum barrel aged imperial stout, spiced with a mélange of nutmeg, ginger, allspice, cardamom, cassia cinnamon and ceylon cinnamon buds.

This batch features the base of our 2024 plus pineapple and coconut, and tastes like a coconut macaroon meets pineapple upside down cake all baked into a cinnamon bun. Who could say no!?
