A variety that needs little introduction, pink fleshed and strawberry scented, Foxwhelp is possibly the zingiest apple that ever graced the Earth. First recorded for use in cider in the mid 1600s, it’s also one of the oldest and has always been highly prized.

Serve this sparkling cider in flutes and pair with rich and creamy pasta dishes and soft British cheeses such as Tunworth or Winslade. We think this cider is best served chilled.

The trees that produced the apples for this cider are some of the most magnificent we work with. Arranged in an imposing avenue they are around 80 years old and 40ft tall! One of the first apples in all of our orchards to begin falling, harvesting Foxwhelps by hand in the September sun is the perfect way to kick off the harvest.
