Description
Born in the forest of Rambouillet in 2016, La barge is an itinerant craft brewery. Winner of the "Reinventing the Seine" call for projects, the brewery will soon cast off for the Ecuries de la Briche along the Saint-Denis canal. There, we will realize a totally “Barge” dream: to distribute an artisanal beer in a short circuit by river. We brew our beers with malt, hops, yeast, obviously water ... and that's it! All while favoring 100% natural ingredients, for unfiltered and unpasteurized beers.
The Barge Brewery is a craft brewery born in 2016. Our first ambition is to produce quality beer accessible to all. Our project is to install our brewery on a boat, a river barge and to navigate the Seine to the rhythm of the fermentation of our beers. The manufacture of beer involves mastering many processes, whether physical, micro-biological, energy or logistics. Our desire to set up our brewery on a boat is shaking up habits and otherwise giving us a hard time, material to innovate. So we want to learn from our elders and discover through experience possible more ecological methods for brewing beer and its distribution. We try to link the use of new and traditional brewing methods by bringing neglected materials back to life. Today, we have built our 1000L brewing module on the edge of the Rambouillet forest, our first laboratory to cultivate our experience, develop our range and launch the marketing of our products.
