Description
An English couple settled in Albret and embarked on the creation of a beer. Graham Brown and Stacey Harvey moved to the royal city in January 2017. Graham, emeritus musician, is a true beer enthusiast, he brews for himself and a few friends. "I worked for 5 years in a microbrewery in England, the 'Peakstones Rock Brewery', where I learned the whole manufacturing process."
In July 2019, Graham decided to start marketing beers to individuals. Under the Albret Ales brand, he makes a craft beer in the purest English tradition with hops he brings from Marseille and barley malt. Graham uses a traditional method. "I carry out a first fermentation for two days, a passage in the cold for 12 hours then a second fermentation in the bottle for 2 to 3 weeks". The brewer produces 50 liters of beer, but success requires, he must review his production upwards to reach 100 to 150 liters.
