Birthed from its own creation. Like a spring bubbling up from the depths of the earth and growing into life giving water for the people. An idea that had itself and blessed us with its knowing. Bringing together the sacred wisdom of vibrations and molecular encryption allowing water to carry a message imprinted with sound, words, and sacred geometry. Creating a way to Drink~Life.

The co-creators of Sacred Springs are Geoff Lamden (brewing circa 2006) and Joel Andrus (brewing circa 2007). In 2013 they brewed their first batch of mead together using singing bowls, didgeridoo, and intention. The moment of clarity came when Joel asked Geoff if there was anything he could say to the mead while it fermented at his house. Geoff had been writing intentions on his kombucha fermenters at home and using singing bowls. Joel had been brewing mead in silence with intentions for years. They brewed mead infused with sound and intention ever since. In 2016 they started Sacred Springs, not having an investor to cover costs of alcohol licenses, kombucha brewing and bottling was how the business began. December 2018 saw the opening of our first taproom. By 2020 all wholesale bottle and can accounts were halted and the Return to Source practice was implemented to showcase our taproom and keep in connection with the kommunity.

Sacred Springs Micro Taproom, located on Wealthy Street in Grand Rapids, now proudly serves traditional mead, session mead, mead spritzers, mead cocktails, meaducha, hard kombucha, as well as non-alcoholic kombucha and lemonade.
