Description
The Brasserie is located in Champfromier, a town in the Haut Jura regional park, in the Valserine valley, near the towns of Bellegarde, Nantua and Oyonnax.
The name is a nod to the beautiful sites of the Valserine gorges but also an invitation to the pleasure of the first sip of beer. It is finally the promise of drinking a sip of water from quality, from a source located in the Avalanches cirque.
The beers are made in an artisanal manner, in small quantities, in 200 l tanks. The Microbrewery room, located in the basement, allows you to maintain a moderate temperature.
The beers are brewed with water from the Avalanches spring. They are of the “top fermentation” type to develop more complex aromas. These are pure malt beers, brewed exclusively with cereal malts. The latter are grown without synthetic phytosanitary products. The beers are neither filtered nor pasteurized at bottling, it is a living product which continues to mature in the bottle. The deposit of yeast at the bottom of the bottle is the “trademark” of natural carbonation.
