We built this brewery out of a passion for home brewing and the look in peoples faces when folks tasted our home brews and said “you made this? – this is great.” After several years of home brewing and sharing our craft with close friends, we sought out to reach a wider audience by building a brewery in downtown Detroit Lakes. The 7,000 square foot taproom provides ample opportunities for our guests to enjoy beer, spend time with friends and family, play games, or watch your favorite team on TV. From our statement murals by local artist Hans Gilsdorf to our cozy private coves we value creating an experience for you to spend time with those closest to you.

Our mission is to provide a variety of great beers in our destination taproom. Head brewer, Tyler Hawkins, is crafting the finest beers possible with as many locally sourced ingredients we can find. Whether you prefer traditional German style lagers, Norwegian blonde ales, dark porters and stouts, or naturally fruited sours we have got you covered.

We are open everyday with at least 12 beers on tap and a selection of N/A tap options including kombucha, house made root beer, and N/A beer.
