The brewery is located at the foot of Gassan, the main peak of the Dewa Sanzan (three peaks of Mt. Dewa) in the center of Yamagata Prefecture. Gassan (one of the 100 best waters in Japan) is used as brewing water to produce sake with a clear, elegant, and soft taste.
