Description
Meijo Sake Brewery was founded in 1966 by the merger of six breweries in Himeji City, centered around Imai Sake Brewery, which was founded in 1864. Needless to say, "Meijo" is named after Himeji Castle (White Heron Castle), the most famous castle in Japan, towering over Mount Hime in the heart of the Banshu Plain. For over 150 years since then, the company has maintained its flavor and boasts the largest production volume in Banshu.
