Description
The best beer from the birthplace of water .
The Aso caldera boasts one of the largest calderas in the world. Water pouring down onto the peaks of Aso slowly transforms into underground water over time.
Located south of the five peaks of Mt. Aso, Minamiaso, known as "the birthplace of water," is blessed with numerous springs, including the Shirakawa Spring, one of Japan's 100 famous springs. It's extremely rare for a single region to possess both soft and hard water, making it a miraculous place for brewing beer.
Our approach utilizes Minamiaso's abundant water resources, centered on the agricultural activities of Aso, a designated Globally Important Agricultural Heritage System, and uses agricultural ingredients sourced from recycled agriculture and agricultural-welfare collaboration. We aim to brew beer that takes advantage of the beautiful and irreplaceable natural bounty of Aso.
Five years after the Kumamoto earthquake, the long-awaited New Aso Bridge has opened. Like the peaks of Aso, we hope that this beer will contribute to the recovery efforts by working with a diverse range of people
