Description
We are a small brewpub located in historic Manitou Springs, first opening our doors in March 2014. Sitting at the base of Pikes Peak, we are the closest brewery to its splendor. All of our beer is born from the pristine waters located near the top of the peak. We are proud to use organic, Colorado grown & malted barley in our beers.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a dark orange, with a medium, tan head. The aroma is apple juice, rye bread, blood orange, pine bark, cloves, and brown sugar. Sweet and grainy, with a mild, sharp bitterness. Medium body, with a syrupy, sharp mouthfeel. This is an interesting and sharp beer.

Half pint at the brewery. Pours a bubbly, clear, light, golden color, with a big, foamy, white head. Tangerines, hay, dust, juniper, lemon zest, and white sugar. Sweet and citrusy, with a sharp bitterness. Crisp, easy, and pretty tasty.

Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a medium, frothy, tan head. The aroma is bittersweet chocolate, mild coffee, licorice, cloves, and burnt toast. A bit dry, with an assertive bitterness. Medium to heavy body, with a sticky and sharp mouthfeel. Nice, roasty, and sharp.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, bright, orange color, with a small, off-white head. The aroma is roses, resin, white sugar, hay, and mild anise. Sweet and yeasty, with a hard, sharp bitterness. Light body, with a crisp, clean finish. Nice, clean, and refreshing, but a little hard and sharp.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, dark brown color, with a big, frothy, white head. The nose is caramel, brown bread, lavender, and black pepper. Sweet and malty, with a light bitterness. Light to medium body, with an acidic, smooth mouthfeel. This is a pretty balanced, sharp, and complex saison. Nice.

Taster at the brewery. Pours a dark, murky gold, with a white ring. Smells essentially like a Moscow mule, which makes sense. Lime, syrup, vanilla, and strong ginger. Sweet and a bit tart. Light body, with a creamy, lightly acidic mouthfeel. This is a fun, but strange, beer.

Taster at the brewery. Pours clear gold, with a small, white head. Sharp pine and floral hop aromas with some white bread, and cereals. Sweet and pleasantly bitter. Light body, with a crisp mouthfeel. This is a refreshing, pleasant, and well made pilsener.

Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, tan head. The aroma is chicory, espresso, walnuts, cocoa, and toast. Sweet and syrupy, with a nice, sharp, roasty bitterness. Heavy body, with a sharp, chewy, and grainy feel. This is a lovely, mild stout.

[ As Manitou Common ].Clear medium orange amber color with a average, frothy, good lacing, mostly lasting, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, pale malt, sweet malt. Flavour is moderate to light light heavy sweet with a average duration, sweet malt, sugary, malty. Body is medium, texture is oily to watery, carbonation is soft. [20141220]
