500ml bottle @ monthly tasting, Chez Sophie, April '19, courtesy of Mike. Pours a deep hazed brown, off-white foam atop. Aroma Is a bit dusty, cobweb, nutmeg, cloves. Taste is much of the same, rough around the edges, old malt, oxidized. Great to see an old clip-art Santa on a beer label, of course, but otherwise it's a weak, poorly executed Christmas beer. .

Moderately sweet and slightly bitter flavour, light to medium bodied with a modest carbonation. Bready and nutty cara-malt character with subtle fruity notes and woody hoppy spice; moderately sweet finish with caramel and a mildly hoppy bitterness. 04.VIII.15
