Very huge citrus nose here with good dose of pine. Golden pour with good head and lacing. Hay and even a bit of bitter rootlike resin. A little bitter but pretty clean northeastern style finish. Tap passed put for free by brewer at Churchkey.

Can - pours a lightly hazy gold - soapy head that completely dissipates, eventually looking totally still, almost like a cider - nose is sweet, with notes of white frosting, overripe apples, but also done peppery phenolics and grassy hops - lightish body but kind of slick and lifeless in the mouth - flavor is sweet candied pear, clove, light esters - late spiciness and grass - moderate alcohol warmth - eh, not that great, but drinkable enough, I guess.

Hazy light tan with a thin head. Aroma is pretty much straight up kettle sour; maybe a touch of yeastiness. Sweetish, tastes too much like applesauce.

Many thanks to Chris for this can! Great floral fresh nose. Intense hops. Not too sweetish but nice full body. Hints of grain with an immense floral grassy hoppy bouquet. Pine, fresh green hops. Nice resin on the tongue. Hints of sweetish grain in the aftertaste, together with a moderate bitterness and great fresh floral hops. Easy to drink and deep. Great stuff!

Despite there being a 4 Noses "Oktoberfesht" in the database, I have entered this as a new beer given the not insignificant difference in ABV - can - pours a hazy amber - no head or lace to speak of - poorly carbonated - a bit limp in the mouth - decent malt richness, but the limpness and lack of complexity mostly make if taste sugary, followed by a mildly sour acidity, followed still by some spiciness and moderate hop character - not that good.

Can. A- Coffee, mocha, cocoa. A- Black color, black liquid, tan head. T- Coffee, mocha, cocoa, slightly malty, slightly roasty. P- Medium body, average texture, average carbonation, malty finish. O- Coffee on the forefront and cocoa on the back. Just a little more thin and malty on the body than I would prefer and not overly robust but still quite a good beer.

Nitro at Stapleton Tap House - black pour - nose of smoke, anise, espresso, raisin - flavor is a nice.balance of sweetness, roast, and a mildly tannic acidity - tastes of smoke, vanilla, bitter chocolate - alcohol heat is a bit high, making the finish too boozy, but otherwise a strong showing.
