At the lancaster pub. Slight aroma of fruit, but you really have to search for it. Taste is a typical fruit beer, rather dull and very little sweetness. Yes, some wheat in there but it is rather dull overall. Unsweetened berry coolaid effects. Good co2 makes it a little easier to take.

At the lancaster pub. Slightly darker than your typical pale ale. Pretty clean orangish color. Just plain old clean beer smell. Wew, rather strong on the palate, could pass for a milder ipa. Leaves a medium long bitter finish after each slug. Nearly flat just like many ipa. A tad wtery in body. CO2 makes it a littler easy to take.

At the lancaster pub. A darker than pale lager fer sure but not red in color. Friendly and clean smell. Thin head. Nice overall taste, not cloying the least. Not sweet either. Must say that it comes across really fresh. If this is what a vienna is supposed to taste like the bottled versions Iβve been having are terrible. Good overall beer.

On tap at the lancaster pub. A very light looking beer. This was a little more in the personality than I expected for a light beer. More flavor, like a typical lager. Had a bit of that processed feel to it. Not bad overall but certainly more than a light pale lager.

Had this at the lancaster pub. probably the best beer out of all the samples. Nice dark look. Very good tasting mild and friendly roasty effetcs. Smell is just good old plain mildly burnt wood. Never over the top. Yes, an overall really good beer, very enjoyable. Nicely done.

Cloudy orange - brown beer. Tidy white head. Light soft palate., a little dry. Even soft malt. Some fresh orange underneath. A little carbonated bite and spice bring up the finish. A little honey in there. Nice beer, doesnβt taste like a heavy!

Cloudy chocolate brown beer. Light frothy and soft palate. Rich chocolatey malt, soft and frothy. A little repressed hop coming through at the end with some minerals. Super soft well brewed barleywine.

Bottle 33 cl. Courtesy of Pinball. Comes as "Old Tom" credited to Iron Hill, West Chester. Pours a cloudy amber with a tiny, rough off-white head. Lovely complex aroma of sweet spice and overripe fruit. Rich body, lowish carbonation, overripe fruit, a little coconut and a warming alcohol finish. Nice and rustic. 080512
