Description
One of the most traditional Bavarian breweries - HERRNBRÄU - is located in Ingolstadt - the city in which Duke Wilhelm IV's world-famous “Bavarian Purity Law” was announced in 1516. For over 130 years we have stood for old Bavarian brewing art and beer specialties of the finest quality. Beer and wheat beer lovers far beyond the borders of Ingolstadt and Bavaria also know and appreciate our traditional recipes and products brewed only with the best ingredients.

Re-rateNice clove aroma. Brown cloudy amber, good head. Some bananaflavors, also wheat and hony present. Surprisingly thin body and not that much aftertaste - a bit wheat and banana. Not quite full enough for a winterbeer in my humble opinion.

Cloudy light brown color, like apple cider, with a huge soapy head. Aroma of cloves, lemon, and only a very slight banana. Flavor is sweet and tangy with a mild spicy dry finish. Lingering alcohol presence in the throat. Surprisingly light carbonation, and full flavor. Not the best, but a nice dunkel weizen.
