This was poured into a pint glass.
The appearance was a hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than thirty seconds leaving some messy lacing sliding into the beer.
The smell had a big sweet burst of tropical goodness flowing into floral and sweet grassy qualities.
The taste was mainly sweet with barely any bitterness. Tropical fruits really dominate and allowing a sticky sweet aftertaste and finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation runs fairly smooth and sweet somewhat candy - like to semi-creaminess runs along my tongue.
Overall, APA or APWA, I’m thinking this is an APA, as I don’t get any wheat bite anywhere. Still a delicious beer I’d probably come back to preferably in the Summer.

Tab at OBF 2015. pours hazy orange gold with a white head. Aroma is mostly citrus. Med body or beter. Flavor is strong mixed citrus; zest indications. Pretty bitter, citrus wise. Hops almost burn. Reallly dryish. Enough flavors to slow ya down. This experience does not seem to square with the description.

Sampled from the tap at the Hop Shop. Pours a clear deep amber orange with a tan head that dissipates slowly to the edges. Aroma has a bread and grass combination with a light earthy pine underlying. Flavor is bread and grass with a bit of sweetness underlying.

This was poured into a nonic pint glass.
The appearance was a nice looking hazy burnt orange color with a one finger white foamy head that dissipated within less than a minute leaving some light lacing roaming all about.
The smell started off with a big burst of citrus hops running over light piney notes and then a slight floral setting balances within.
The taste copied the smell to have a nice bittersweet burst of hops to malts, nicely balanced. A light piney to citrus aftertaste leads into a refined sweet citrus finish.
On the palate, this one sat about a light to medium on the body with a nice sessionability about it. Carbonation feels right for an AIPA - slightly back to allow the hops to take the lead on the bitterness and harshness on my tongue.
Overall, I say this was a pretty good AIPA that I would have again.
