Pint on tap @ Secret Garden, Enmore. Cloudy but my wife’s pint is clear! Same tap! Golden with creamy white head. Nose of restrained hops and malt. High carbonation (esp. for an ESB). Flat mouthfeel, fruity finish. Bit of bubblegum, some grain, quite dry and watery. Nice enough but stylistically all over the place.

Cloudy, bubbly, aroma is fairly phenolic, with a berryish estery note and some sticky bubblegum stuff in the finish. Not really my pocket of balanced saison.

Bright, light amber, light caramel and toast. Sweet, has mostly a caramel character. Enjoyable for the amber malt crowd.

Draught at the brewery. Light brown, not much head. Light cocoa and subtle citrusy hop. As a fun, hoppy brown I like it, though arguably it needs more bitterness and more body.

Golden. Lots of pale malt on the nose and palate, light bitterness, a well-made basic golden.

Amber-red colour. Medium head falls fast. Earthy, chewier character with some bright hops, maybe mandarin.
