This brew is a clear pale golden color with a medium thin white head that dissipates pretty fast. Minimal lacing. Typical Lager aroma of malt, grain and light hops. Light-bodied and crisp with mild grassy hops, corn and malt flavor. The finish is mildly bitter hops and the aftertaste is actually decent, saving the beer from being a compete snooze.

Clear straw color with a medium thin white head with fair retention. Minimal lacing. Aroma of light grassy hops and a hint of malt. Light-bodied and crisp at first but becomes watery right away. Mild grassy hops flavor, along with a bit of sweet malt. The finish is carbonated with very little flavor aside from a touch of hops. Although boring, it is decent for a Light beer.

Not that bad. I had it a while ago, and must say that it is quite refreshing. Not as special as some of the other beers I have had recently, but a good change from the macro brews I normally drink.

Bottled. U.S. Beer 30 of 31 for American Beer Month! Somehow, I lived in northeastern PA for two years without ever hearing of this one. Not that it’s a great discovery, mind you. The usual pale, pale pour under the usual thin head. A very light lager taste. At least it’s decently done for its style. Just a hint of malt, and some hops in its beery smell. There’s even a bitter aftertaste, which is more than any macro can claim these days. At least it has a nice marketing attitude.

I have never encountered anything drinkable from Straub and this beer proved to be no exception. Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured an extremely light pale yellow with a medium sized bleach white head. The aroma is sweet and grassy. The flavor is sour and grassy with a light sour tang and a dry finish. Not good but less offensive than their regular beer.

Super clear light golden coloured body with a thin white head. Aroma of skunk, pale malt, some light sugars and nothing else good. Light-bodied; Rough initial flavour of malt and skunk then following with a super bland watery taste. Aftertaste completely gone, nothing left in the palate at all. I guess thats better than a skunky flavour. Overall, not a great beer, but nice to try. I sampled this twelve ounce beer given to me by my brother-in-law on 14-November-2004.

16 oz returnable bottle. Pours light and golden. Medium head. Strong grassy aroma. The flavor is that of a freshly mown lawn. Heavily carbonated. There is a weird aftertaste I can not identify. "Beer in all it’s glory" the bottle says. Whoever wrote that is a fool. I bought 2 cases because I needed the bottles to homebrew with. 46 of the bottles got dumped down the drain. Normally I would feel guilty about the waste of beer, but in this case I feel like a better man for having done it.

Rather non descript yellow lager with grassy nose, corny taste, little body.

Pale straw colour. Aroma of corn, with possibly some fleeting grassy hop. Sweet, watery palate. Finish of corn and water. Not awful, just empty.
