12oz bottle c/o BenT. Filtered amber-tan body. Medium bodied, the overall flavor is quite true to style, though the body is still more American, reminds me a lot of Asheville beers of years past in its clean, well brewed, malt centered simplicity. Yeah, I could see knocking off a whole sixpack. Good.

Draft at Yazoo. Pours a clear golden copper with a finger of white foam that lingers. Orange zest, mikan, hard candy aromas dominate the nose. Some caramel & lemonhead notes as it warms. Light with more lemon, honey & pine. Good bitterness kicks in on the finish. Really nice west coast IPA for a great cause! --- Beer aliased from original tick of Resilience Butte County Proud IPA on 24 Jan 2019 at 20:30 - Score: 7. Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a pitch black with brownish purple highlights and a quickly dissipating, small brown head. Bourbon forward nose with plum, coconut, oak and cacao nib aromas. Sweet coconut and vanilla on the palate with lots of bourbon soaked chocolate flavors. Oak comes out as it warms. Slick mouthfeel and maybe a touch thin. Still pretty boozy, but all the flavors are distinctly present. Lingering cacao nib, vanilla, coconut and booze. Very nice. --- Beer merged from original tick of Black Belle Aged On Coconut on 18 Dec 2018 at 22:39 - Score: 8. Original review text: Big bourbon forward nose with plum, cacao nib, oak and marshmallow vanilla notes. Coconut/ vanilla oak on the palate. Bourbon finish. Yum

Bottle from Craft Brewed. Pours a pitch black with a finger of brown head that dissipates. Lovely cinnamon forward nose with wet bourbon barrel, oak, vanilla and malt notes. Light cinnamon on the palate with lots of bourbon, vanilla, oak and light chocolate malt notes. A tad boozy on the palate, but not overly thin. Good cinnamon notes on the finish with a lingering vanilla, toffee bourbon note. Great balance, although may still be a tad warming. Pretty impressive for a traditional BA imperial stout here in Tennessee.

Bourbon, cinnamon, vanilla and oak on the nose. More vanilla and bourbon on the palate. Pretty balanced w/ the cinnamon on the finish. Solid
