Larvik Mikrobryggeri ble etablert i 2011 av øl-entusiaster. 134 aksjonærer var med i oppstarten, i en tid hvor mikrobyggerier hadde sin oppblomstring. Vi ønsket å få til noe bra for Larvik. I dag er Larvik Mikrobyggeri eid av Geir Bakken, og i 2019 ble bryggeriet flyttet til mer egnet lokaler i Rødmyrlia 39, Skien. Alt bryggerutstyr ble fornyet og vi økte kapasiteten fra 400 L til 1000 L per dag. Vi produserer i overkant av 30.000 liter i 2022 og har alltid som mål å øke produksjonen.

Medium white head shrinks quite rapidly with a hissing sound. Hazy orange body with strong carbonation. Earthy fruity candy aroma with herbal wood notes. Dry-sweet-acidic mealy earthy vinegary taste. Thin body. Fizzy, oily mouthfeel. Undrinkable. Infected. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Oslo City. Batch 0089. Given that four out of four beers from Larvik have been infected I suspect they may not need that fourth digit in the batch number.)

Bottle. Dark amber colour with a beige head. aroma is smoked, malt, bacon. Flavour is smoked, sourness, apple, bacon, caramel. What in hell is this ?

Bottle 500ml. @ [ Fastelavn Smagning - Carnival Tasting, Ulfborg ]. [ As Larvik IPA ].ABV: 7.6%. Clear medium orange color with a average, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white head. Aroma is moderate malty, caramel, moderate hoppy, grass, orange - citrus, hop oil. Flavour is moderate sweet and bitter with a long duration, hoppy, caramel, dry. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20140301]

Black with a small brown head that dissapears fast - Some burnt / roasted malt in the aroma - Thin malt body with hints of roasted malt and sour flavours in the back - Thin finish with some sour off taste - This was not good at all

Attempts to gush, then stops. Small white head doesn’t last. Hazy amber body with carbonation. Grainy, strawy aroma, doesn’t feel quite right. Sweet-sour earthy wooden wild berries taste. Obviously infected, and all out of sorts. FFS. So far three out of three beers from this brewery have been infected. (0.5l bottle, from Meny Oslo City.)

Flaske 0,5l. Batch 74. Gave fra Rune. Ekstremt mørkebrun. Uklar. Pent tett, litt farget skum. God baconaroma. Smaken er stikkende syrlig med et medisinsk preg. Ikke god. Hvis smaken er tilsiktet er dette ikke bra. Gjetter på en infeksjon.
