500 ml bottle, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. Batch #0084. ABV is 7.2%. Amber colour, hazy if the yeast is poured in the end. Moderate to low off-white head. Sweetish aroma of malts, fruity hops and honey. Rather sweet flavour, honey and fruity notes, malty but with noticeable hops - though not as hoppy as you expect from an IPA. Could have been better - but could definitely have been worse too. It is much better than some other ratings made me fear. Might even buy again.

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Murky chestnut brown with a moderate beige covering. Nose is soured fruits, hint of TCP, smoked malt. Taste comprises really bitter and tarte fruits, light acidic notes, smokey tones. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, tarte fruit face cringeing finale. Meh ! Something not right with the bottling perhaps?

Bottle at Fastelavn Smagning 2014 @ J&C’s beer palace, Jutland Saturday Session 1 - 01/03/14. Hazed orange amber with a moderate off white covering. Nose is mandarin, straw, orange, dank hop notes, bread dough. Taste comprises tarte orange, lemon rind, apple skins, bready notes. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Very mediocre IPA.

Nose is earthy, vegetal, stale fart, bitter fruit. Taste comprises sour fruit, mineral notes, veggy twang. Medium bodied, fine carbonation. No balance, twiggy rubbish, band fronted by Shirley Manson ...

500ml bottle picked up at Vinmonopolet Langnes. Firm beige bubbly head that laced well. Hazy amber coloured body. Modest aroma of citrus and sweet malts. A little unbalanced taste profile of grapes, berries, fruits and malts. On the sweet side of bittersweet to the ending. Floury in the mouth. Quite alright to drink, far from great though (shared with Stefan, Elisabeth and Finn, Tårnrommet, Tromsø 26.02.2014).

Cloudy pale yellow color with a fine white head. Mild wheat and yeast aroma. Mid bodied and tad sweet. Way to light wheat and mild banana flavor for a hefe weisse.

Unclear golden color with a white head. Aroma and flavor reminds me of an Czech pilsner. Light bodied and quite mild. Room for improvement.

Bottle. It pours a clear, dark amber colored body under a small, dense, beige head. Pleasant smoke and toffee aroma with a faint herbal touch. Ham notes. The flavor is a completely different thing, sourish as hell, destroying the experience completely. Would have been interesting to taste really fresh, as it is now it’s completely undrinkable. Medium body. A beer that doesn’t deserve the score I award it, not at all. 140301
