Bottle, at Jæren Ølfestival pre-tasting. A clear straw colored mead, still and headless. Quite flowery, strangely fruity aroma with a spiced note and some honey. It’s sweet and very softly carbonated, rather sweet, with honey as a backdrop for the flavor. Quite thin, sweet and still. Perfumed, sweet and spiced, quite fruity. Too cloying this one, not very good actually. 220812

Bottle, at Jæren Ølfestival pre-tasting. A hazy pale golden colored beer with a medium sized white head. Some lacing. The aroma reminds me more of a saison or farmhouse than an IPA. Grassy, herbal and fruity aroma, with a faint peppery hint. Some piney notes too. It’s medium bodied and nicely carbonated, quite dry, with a lightly candyish flavor. Pale malts, generic fruityness, some grass, hay and herbal hints. Quite nice this one, but not very IPA-ish. 220812

Bottle, at Jæren Ølfestival pre-tasting. It’s an almost clear one, pale golden in color, with a small white head. The aroma is lightly sulphury, mostly fruity, with a light grainy touch. Apple, pear and melon hints. It’s quite dry on the palate, medium bodied and pleasantly carbonated. Grassy flavor with apple, melon, pine cone hints and a generic fruityness. Medium length finish. Pale malts as a backdrop. Quite pleasant this one. 220812
