12 ounce can. Number one with a bullet. Honey gold pour is topped by a frothy white head with spotty lacing. Sweet pineapple aroma on a bready malt base. Flavor is more of the same. Bready malt and sweet pineapple with a touch of tangerine and passion fruit. Very drinkable despite the 8% ABV.

16 ounce can from brewery. Number one with a bullet. Caramel colored liquid has a brief foamy white head. Aroma of vanilla crème soda, cinnamon and rum. First sip yields flavors of cinnamon, nutmeg, oak, rum and pineapple, coconut and vanilla. Lots of booziness. Tastes like vanilla crème soda with a shot of strong rum added. Might be improved with a dose of cream of coconut added. Different.

My 85th Cape May Brewing beer rating! On tap at Cape May Brewing tasting room. Number one with a bullet. Jet black pour. Creamy tan head. Nice lacing. Roasty chocolatey malt nose. Flavor follows nose. Roasty notes of chocolate and dark toast. Soft mouthfeel. Very satisfying for a low ABV brew. Enjoyed this a lot.

On tap at Cape May Brewing tasting room. Number one with a bullet. Dark amber color. Creamy beige cap. Fragrant citrus aroma is redolent of tangerine. Flavor is bold and spicy and laden with notes of citrus peel and crushed black pepper. Some crackery sweet malt balances this nicely.
