This beer is a slightly hazy copper-gold color with a medium thin off-white head that dissipates quickly to an outer ring. Short strings of lacing on the glass. Grainy malt and hops in the nose. Light to medium body with flavors of mildly bitter grassy hops and bready malt. The finish is grainy with a citrus and hops aftertaste. Just average overall.

Location: 12 oz bottle from World Market - Houston Galleria, 10/9/13
Aroma: The nose is pale and crystal malts, some grainy notes, and mild grass
Appearance: This one pours a clear golden-orange color with a fizzy white head
Flavor: The taste is similar to the nose, malty and grainy, not all that sweet, finishes light bitter
Palate: The body is light-medium, it has a fizzy carbonation, and a dry, slightly off finish
Overall Impression: This isn't a really great beer. It has the feel of a generic, mediocre, and somewhat flawed craft brew. It isn't bad, but it isn't good either. We all know the type.

Bottle from Rosebud Butternuts. Pours dark brown black with a dark tan head. Aroma is chocolate and roasted dark malt. Nearly burnt. Full bodied. Flavor is very dark chocolate and dark malt. Iβm not getting coffee, I think. Pretty dry. Very, very tasty. Sort of like baking chocolate in the finish. Nice.

Appearance: Hazy dark golden color with a small white head. Light lacing.
Aroma: SPICY. You could feel the Jalapeno even on distance.
Palate: Medium + body. Moderate sweet and a mild bitterness. Soft carbonation.
Taste: Jalapeno on a solid malty back.
Overall impression: Weird, but still ok.
Personal stats: Bottle at a tasting at Hostinec Richtar Jakub in Bratislava, Slovakia.

On tap at the Hay Merchant. Almost black this one, and topped by a small, dense light beige head. Itβs a bit alcoholic on the nose, else really pleasant, with vanilla, black coffee, molasses, roasted malts and a touch of very dark chocolate. Itβs way too warming on the palate, in a pleasant way. Soft, medium body and feeling quite dry, even though it leaves a sugary coating. Thereβs a lot of flavor, chocolate, coffee, molasses notes, booze, vanilla and a pleasant bitterness. Lasting warm, sweet finish with all the good things found initially. Too alcoholic this one, but in a nice and quite dangerous way. It feels like itβs at twice the strength, but it has the body of a five percent beer, making it very easy to drink. 130825

12 ounce bottle. Pours a clear copper color with a medium white head. A big peppery nose. The flavor works out great with medium heat, huge green peppers. Hey, how did Craigers get the accent symbol over the jalapeno? That dude works magic with machines. Good pepper brew,
