12 oz can purchased in Austin, TX. Pours a pitch black color with a thick light brown head and great retention. Good lacing. Dark bitter chocolate aroma. Dark chocolate and molasses flavors with a touch of coffee. A little too much molasses flavor for me. Heavy body. 6.7% ABV is invisible.

Rachel brought this one back from a trip to Texas. +++ Sampled from a 12 oz brown bottle this beer poured a dark caramel color with a large foamy orange-tan head that lingered and left decent lacing. The aroma was sweet fruity hops with tropical and piney notes. The flavor was sweet, tart and tangy with notes of orange, pineapple, tobacco and toasted caramel. Medium length finish. Medium body. Well done and quite quaffable.

Bomber, pours with minimal head for an impster and lots of carbonation, fizziness, semi-transparent brown-black body. Coffee aroma, some syrupy barley, dissipated by too much carbonation. Flavour is a nice mix of coffee and dark chocolate, just a hint of peanut butter. Could be brought further front in the mix. Good oiliness on the mouthfeel. No indication of the big alcohol kick, so good on them there. But this needs some tweaking I think to get to the big leagues.
