Reviewed from notes.
The appearance was a pale yellow color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that quickly died off. Not much lace, somewhat sliding and stringy.
The aroma had some citrusy sweet hops, white bread, some floral tones, little bit of barnyard, light hay, perfumey sweet cloves, and ended with some dried leaves.
The flavor was sweet all of the way through with a super low key amount of the cloves. Aftertaste was totally sweet and ran into the finish in the same way.
The palate was between light and medium bodied with a fairly decent sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fairly low and the ABV felt fine. Got pretty smooth all around and though I often hate to use this over used word \"watery,\" yes, this would be an example of a beer to say that this is \"watery.\"
Overall, another witbier by an American brewer that keeps it a \"session\" styled witbier with the lack of the \"Belgian spice,\" a robust Belgian yeast and a thicker body.

Poured into a mug, the appearance was a murky brown color with a finger’s worth of white foamy head that dissipated at a slow pace. Sly roaming lace.
The aroma had some sweet and roasty nuts up front then a light caramel/toffee malt base. Light floral, citrusy and earthy hops came in for a nice balance.
The flavor was semi-sweet with a light bitterness and a decent roastiness. Aftertaste was nuts, leather a little bit of baker’s chocolate. Finish was the same.
The palate was medium bodied with a good sessionability about it. Carbonation felt fine. ABV felt fine. A touch drier than I expected along my tongue.
Overall, pretty good brown ale that I could have again.

On tap at pig iron. Very expensive brew. Red brown & clear. Smell is typical flanders. Taste also, makes me immediately think of rodenbach. Perhaps a little more tart but I found this beer interesting and satisfying all the way to the end. Nice job, just wish I didn’t have to pay thru the nose to have it.

King’s Corner, Jenkintown tap: pours light brown with an off white head. Aroma is caramel, toffee, general maltiness. Taste is surprisingly not boozy. Easy to drink. Not super complex.
