Bottle from Albertsons. As the description says, not a big, overwhelming hoppy IPA, nicely balanced, which makes it an easy drinker. Tasty malts coupled with mild hops. Really good!

Grunt fill from Albertsons. Pours out with an instant foamy head, fades fast with minimal lacing. Fruity, caramel aroma, taste comes on sort of sweet with some yeast notes. Abrupt finish. Nice flavor, but a little weak in all other areas.

Bottle from Albertsons. Dull pour, aroma is berries, but seems candy-ish, flavor smooths out a bit, and body has a nice silky feel to it. Wheat is probably a nice base for this, and presents a decent summer quencher.

For an Unfiltered beer, it is only a bit hazy. The amber colour is attractive, the foam does a good job of hanging around.

The smell is grainy, malty, hoppy, with a distinct note of fruit. .cherry says I.

Malty taste to start with a light cherry tartness, mild hop bitterness, bready notes and finishes with biscuit.

Good Medicine is a treat to drink; not being overly hopped is the key I reckon. --- Beer merged from original tick of Good Med Montana Red Ale on 28 Feb 2016 at 08:34 - Score: 8. Original review text: Really well balanced. Ying and Yang of malt and hops. Thanks Jay!
