Tap at the brewery. Aroma clove, hints of sourness, quite typical weizen. Hazy yellow colour. Stable white head. Taste is nicely balanced, typical clove and banana with light lemony sourness. Overall very refreshing, easily drinkable. Another well made beer from Muzejny.

Thanks to my summer secret santa MisoW for that one! Bottle looks interesting, but good. Beer in the glass brownish, nice head. Starts fine malty, light sourish-fruity notes, a bit earthy with hints of caramel. Well balanced finish, still light sourish-malty. A good one!

Jun ’14. A 0.5 l plastic bottle, thanks to Slovak RB crew! It poured clear reddish brown body with small white head. Fine biscuit, toasted aroma with notes of yeast. Light herbal bitterness in the flavor along with expected biscuit malt, rather simple, but well balanced. Medium to full in body with sweetish malty and yeasty finish. I would bet it’s a Vienna.

Jun ’14. A 0.5 l plastic bottle, thanks to Slovak RB crew! Poured slightly hazy body with almost no head, but enough carbonation. Weak yeasty and grainy aroma, touch of honey. Slightly sweet honey flavor, some weak indiscernible herbal or grainy notes and too much yeast. Medium bodied, long sweetish biscuit finish. I rather think it’s another batch that went wrong instead it did not travel. It was not a bad for a plain pale lager, but since I’ll otherwise miss something for sure, this definitely goes on my rerate list.

small plastic bottle 500ml. -Thanks Slovakian crew for this one. Slightly hazy golden coloured, small white coloured, light grainy nose; quite similar to Slovenian brewpub beers. Slight yeasty, grainy and light sugary with sudden strong bitter bite in the finish. Low on hops. Bad batch???

Again, enormous thanks to Cuso/Gurthnar/others! Poured a nice dark amber/red body with an off white head, small though. Ok yeasty malty aroma, notes of tomatoes (what?), but generalyl fine, sweetish. Dry, mild malty taste, very light bitterness and soapy notes. Didn’t suffer as much as the pale did I guess, this is as nice little ale that manages to be slightly too lagerish for its own good and is just a touch to week. I can’t wait to visit the brewpub one day though.

Enormous thanks to the Slovak crew for bringing this. 0.5l plastic bottle, wasn’t full... hmm. Golden body with a medium sized, lasting head. The aroma is a mixture of yeasty notes and a grainy maltiness, countered by a strange propolis note. Sweetish, strange taste too... oof, I’ll try to rerate as soon as possible as it doesn’t seem to travel well. When it’s great I believe that it can be great, but we’re in the mmahut/rosenbergh camp here.
