2016 Bomber from Tavour. Nose is chocolate, vanilla, and hint of tobacco. Flavor is light chili peppers, chocolate, and vanilla. Nice because they went light on the peppers and didn’t overpower the other flavors. Brownish red with a medium lightly lacing beige head.

Draft. Black beer with a tan head. Sweet malt and light lactose aroma. Lactose and sweet malt flavor with light caramel and light chocolate. Medium bodied. Caramel and lactose lingers with sweet malt and light chocolate.

Sample at GABF. Pours a dark brown with small beige head. The aroma is vanilla, currants, grape. Medium body, grape, currants, oak, vinous, very nice.

Bottle shared at Travlr departure tasting. Poured into a snifter showing honey yellow with two fingers of clean white foam. The nose shows basically nothing. The palate is light bodied and lightly carbonated. Flavors of subtle pine resin and a medium zesty spiciness throughout with a final light bitterness.
