Sample at Trails End. Pours dark brown, with a medium, dense, tan head. The aroma is smoke, butterscotch, syrup, bark, and earth. Sweet and syrupy. Medium body, with a syrupy palate. Fair.

On tap at the Denver Winter Brew Fest. Pours an unclear, orange color, with a medium, bubbly, off-white head. The nose is apricot, pine, orange peel, cardamom, and pepper. A little sweet, with a sharp, easy bitterness. Light to medium body, with a sharp, acidic mouthfeel. Juicy, aromatic, and well made.

On tap at Trail's End Taproom. Pours a clear, bright yellow, with a big, foamy, white head. Lemon cream, white bread, lovely cloves, vanilla, and caramel. Sweet, with a pleasant savory spice. Medium to heavy body, with a crisp, clean mouthfeel. This is a very interesting, and well made tripel.

Deep slightly hazy peach coloured body with a nice copper glow and a thinnish, two centimetre tall off-white head. Aroma of huge bananas and some ripe coconut waters along with a big dose of fruity hops and some mellow malts. Light to Medium-bodied; Strong rich malty notes at first hit and then the big punch of coconut water/milk is evident followed by a large banana presence and a hint of clovey and spicey yeast esters from the Belgian and/or German strain. Aftertaste is pungent with fruit, with a hint of maltiness, but very mild and nice, very easy-drinking. Overall, a great beer, especially in the summertime, packed with flavour and strength, but nice and mellow still. A great beer to sample, worth driving out of the way for, to sample here! I sampled this five ounce pour on draught at the Black Bottle Brew Pub on 05-June-2017 for US$2,25.

Deep copper and peach coloured body with a thinnish tan head. Aroma of resin, pine, grapefruit and a touch of tropical fruits. Medium-bodied; Resinous hoppy flavour at first with a big dose of grain, some citrus and grapefruit characteristics and a nice mellow sweetness near the end with the sugars playing out. Aftertaste is rich and full-bodied with the piney and assertive dank hops hitting hard and still finishing sweet. Overall, a nice Imperial IPA that hides the nearly 10% ABV well. Good to sample, especially on draught at the Brewpub! I sampled this five ounce pour on draught at Black Bottle Brew Pub in Fort Collins, Colorado on 05-June-2017 for US$2,25.

Clear golden coloured body with a tint of orange and a light, single centimetre tall pure white head. Aroma of sour funk, light berries and pears and finishing with a bit of grass. Light-bodied; Strong grassy flavour at first with some sour lemon and citrus funk noticeable along with a bit of banana and yeastie elements noticeable. Aftertaste shows some sour flavours and a touch of the sweetness from pears and apples. Overall, a mellow offering, slightly sour and decent, but far from a good or worthwhile sour beer. I sampled this five ounce pour on draught at the Black Bottle Brew Pub in Fort Collins, Colorado on 05-June-2017 for US$2,25.

Dark brown coloured body with a small, two centimetre tall tan head. Aroma of funk, malt, yeast, bread and a punch of leather and fruits - pungent throughout and not typical. Medium-bodied; Lightly funky flavours with a big dose of yeast and bread, some cherry and raspberry flavours coupled with some interesting malts and a decidedly vinegar finish that isn’t quite the best. Aftertaste shows some yeast, bread, honey and a tiny amount of fruity funk, decent, but far from great for the style. Overall, a bit too vinegary and pungent, but still nice to try and sample and now I can avoid it if I find it in New York. I sampled this five ounce pour on draught at the Black Bottle Brew Pub in Fort Collins, Colorado on 05-June-2017 for US$2,25.

If someone feels so inclined, they can change the spelling of this beer, but I found it and I’m rater #2. Deep dark brown coloured body with a nice thinnish light brown head. Aroma of heavy bourbon and roasted malt, caramel, anise and a good deal of oats. Medium-bodied; Strong rich malty flavour at first with a ton of bourbon, a lot of grain and some good oaty flavours coupled with a large anise presence and some pitted fruit and caramelised sugar sweetness near the end. Aftertaste shows well with a good robust malty profile of oats and roasted malt and finishing with the good bourbon bite and a bit of sweetness. Overall, a nice rich opening to the beers here, great to sample on draught and not cloying to the palate at all. I sampled this five ounce pour on draught for US$2,25 at the Brew Pub in Fort Collins, Colorado on 05-June-2017.

Draft - cola-looking pour - potent hazelnut in the nose, along with vanilla and chocolate - flavor is fairly sweet, but with balancing roast, acidity, bitterness - light smoke - hazelnut and vanilla - a bit of black cherry - a bit too sweet on the tail end, but good.
