12oz bottle. Frankly, after my previous two Barley Island beers opening with an infected gush, I’m pretty happy with this one. Unfiltered orange-tan, thin white head. Earthy mellow hop aroma, kind of reminiscent of an APA. Kind of has a lemon-lime touch. Pretty decent, standard brewpub IPA. A touch of English character. Drinkable, toasty malt backbone. OK.

12oz bottle. Unfiltered deep brown body. Big, foamy off-white/beige head. Has the same overcarbonated, potentially infected taste and mouthfeel their other bottles have had. Tastes like it would have been a decent beer. If you can’t bottle without infection maybe you shouldn’t bottle.

12oz bottle. Hazy yellow-tan body. Big, soapy white head. A bold, lemony American wheat. Has a dry, rindy bitterness. Don’t know if I’m reading into it but has a sort of infected feel..the aggressive carbonation, the bite.. Interesting beer, if it intends to have the lemon rind tone it does. Oddly harsh and sharp, not light and refreshing.
