0.33l bottle from coop in bern, 1.85 fr. pours a hazy amber with a dense white head. aroma of hay, some sulphuric hops. flavour of hay, caramel, vegetables, bread. very much like a cheap lager, boring.

Das Zugpferd der mittelständischen Brauerei in Uster (ich habe es als "Usterbräu Original" getrunken) am Greifensee. Interessanterweise wird damit geworben, dass es kein Industriebier ist und sich deshalb positiv von diesen abhebt...das witzige daran ist, dass die Brauerei am hiesigen Industrielehrpfad liegt und die alte Brauanlage als Industriedenkmal geschützt ist. Vom Geschmack her sehr fein und schweiztypisch mit biologischen Zutaten gebraut und nicht pasteurisiert und gefiltert.

Bottle 500ml.[ Courtesy of The Aarhus Crew ]. Light unclear medium yellow colour with a small to average, frothy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, white to off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, grain, toasted, light grass. Flavour is moderate sweet and light bitter with a average duration, grain. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft. [20130405]

Wenig würziger Antrunk, schnell wird das Bier auch wässrig. Die vorhandenen Aromen sind modrig, darunter fallen auch die Getreidenoten, die eigentlich Frische vermitteln sollen. Wenig würzig, etwas hefig, einfach unspektakulär. Wässriger Nachgeschmack, etwas hefig und bitter. 11/4/5/4/7/4

Hazy dark blond color. I had it next to the Spezial, they are very similar; this one has just a trace more of malt both in the aroma and flavor; it’s balanced, lean, smooth, a bit sweeter, and as well boring.
