Thanks to Dag Erik for carrying a 330ml bottle from Mora via Hamar to Tromsø. Shared with Finn. Frothy, bubbly, off-white head leaving spotty lacing behind. Golden brown body. Aroma of dusty hops and earthy malts. Mid-sweet, caramel malts in flavour, notes of chocolate as well. Malt-hoppy ending. Well balanced. Likable (Tromsø, 12,01.2012).

Bottle from Cajsa Warg in Stockholm. Dark brown with a small tan head. Very sweet aroma and taste. Dark bread, some malt and saccharine. Thin mouth feel, not much carbonation. Way to sweet, but it’s always interesting to try something new.

(Bottle) Golden colour with frothy, white head. Malty nose with notes of bread, grass, hints of peaches and pineapple. Malty taste with bread, grass, toffe, toast, apricots and a fresh grassy bitterness in the finish. Rather thin body, with a touch of sweetness. Fresh and tasty, better than expected. Quite decent 3.5% lager. --- Beer merged from original tick of Mora Guld-Pilsner 5% on 24 Mar 2020 at 20:48 - Score: Appearance - 6 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 5 | Texture - 6 | Overall - 5.5.
