Thanks to Degarth for sending this one. Pours clear dark yellow that holds up a tall white head. Light malt aroma that has a sweet, cotton-candy quality to it. The flavor stays lightly sweet from start to finish and is carried by a lightly carbonated body. Little to no hop bitterness or aroma. Refreshing and drinkable, a good simple beer.

bottle - Pours a nice looking clear copper with a thin to moderate head. The aroma is a light malty scent and a bit of hops. The flavor is of caramel malts, considerable hops that were alright but seemed like they could have been a little better quality, and a bit of alcohol. The mouthfeel was lively and the finish fairly crisp. Overall it’s a pretty solid brew, though not what I think of as a winter brew. It reminded me of a bock for some reason.

Bottle at Oliver Twist in Stockholm, Sweden. November 2005.Really special scent and taste, guess that’s the pumpkin. Really makes me want to try other pumpkin beers too. Very clear cinnamon taste and smell, or am I confused by the pumpkin? Tried it again now on September 20, bought it at Swedish Systembolaget. Didn’t like it as much as the last time. Big difference was that last time I had been drinking beer all night before drinking this, today I was sober and had it as a first beer.

Pour is a very dark brown with a huge head. Aroma is bready and roasty. Flavor is roasted nuts with malts and a chocolate backbone. Goes down smooth with no bitterness or burn. Pretty good for a brown ale and just enough to put this one over the top.

12 oz bottle-pours a rocky brown head with ink black color. Aroma is coffee, malt, a crispness/estringent. Taste-the estringent is the first impact, then coffee, malt. Medium body. Not usually my taste, but maybe got an infected one here.

Pours an amber colour with a white big and a bit sticky head, that disappears fast. The aroma is a bit malty and a bit fruity. But the flavor is a bit weak compared to other ipa’s i have tried. It has some bitterness from the hops and a bit fruitiness. The aftertaste is quite long and bitter.
