Pours a medium yellow, straw colored mostly clear and bubbly, decent foamy white head. Smells of mild malt and a bit of spicy hops. Opens up very clean and medium sweet, good clean barley malt, very distinguishable flavors. Moderately soft palate, slightly peppery at times. Balance is great, low alcohol does not seem to be a problem for flavor. Finishes with a nice mild fruity hops, definitely some peach and pear in there.

Bottled. Caramelly malt flavor. A little cidery. Taste is more like an English bitter. Nice, though.

Rich amber colour. That's about all that's rich, though. Grainy, slightly herbal aroma. Light flavour, mild herbal hops. Sweetish finish that is at once oily and malty. While a cut above such dubious beers as Oland Export, Black Horse, 50 and Molson Golden, it's confused nature (real beer or macro beer?) actually puts it behind Ten Penny, Molson Export and Molson Stock Ale in overall presentation (even if it is more robust in character).

Dark amber. Caramel, diacetyl and a good bit of earthiness on the nose. Somewhat earthy, chocolatey character with slight diacetyl issue. Kind of watery.

Slightly hazy golden colour with a thin white head. Light sweet aroma of peaches and pears with some additional malt. Light-bodied; Sour initial taste of fruit followed by some maltiness. Aftertaste finisehd without any offensive flavours, just a mild showing of malt and sweetness. Overall, fairly good for the style...good taste and flavour! I bought this twelve ounce bottle at Beers of the World in Rochester, New York and sampled it on 01-November-2003.

light orange and clear. Aroma of pumpkin pie. Taste is also of pumpkin with cinnamon. An ok seasonal worth trying.

Thanks to BierBauch for the trade. This beer pours a very dark brown (almost black) with a medium dark beige head. Thin lacing. Strong roasted coffee aroma with a hint of malt as well. Moderately dry with coffee dominating the flavor. There is a subtle roasted malt and smoky character in the flavor as well. The finish is lightly bitter hops. Solid.

The aroma is sweet, smoked with slight notes of chocolate. The color is pitch black and it has a fine brown head. The flavor is sweet, sligthly smoked with notes of coffee and chocolate. Really good for a low alcohol stout.

The aroma is slightly hoppy. The color is a slightly hazy lihgt amber and it has an OK but fast disappearing head. The flavor is sweet and hoppy from aroma hops. It ends on a grassy note. It is not that bitter, so I would rather call it a standard ale than an IPA. An OK beer but nothing special.

This beer just lacks everything. No hops, no malt. Just a bit too tame. I wouldn't even call it easy drinking.
