2017-11-30, bottle from Craft Beer Advent Calendar 2017, 6-3-5-2-11
Clean golden color. A bit grainy, malty, also metallic, mildly stale, and definitively boring.
2005-03-10, bottle, 7-3-6-3-12=31
Golden color. Delicate but nice hoppy aroma, a bit fruity (sweet oranges). The flavor is balanced but simpler; the final is quite bitter (with caramel as well).
2003-04-01, draught, 5-3-7-3-12=30
Golden color. Light malt aroma. Pretty good body, quite malty (oh, not too much...) and hopped enough.

Blond color. Light malt aroma. Too watery in the mouth, the palate as well. just a little better than the average light beer.

Amber colour. Rocky head. Aroma of cascade-hops, LOTS of Cascade-hops! Somewhat thin and oily mouthfeel. Very hoppy flavour with a slightly burnt note.

Light in colour with an orange tint. An almost white head that remains atop for a long time. A 'lagery' smell with not much outside aromas. Bland taste with a small hoppy aftertaste. Everything about this beer makes it a 'pass up' beer, so don't waste your time on the Export, try the IPA, its much better!

Amber; aroma shows ringwood yeast, herbal hop, caramel. Straightforward English ale - a step up from Bass and Double Diamond but along the same lines.

Bottled. Golden coloured with creamy head. Perfumy fuggle hop aroma. Sweet with medium body with creamy mouthfeel. Orangey finish with some bitterness. Well balanded, really drinkable and more malt accented than the average US micro.

Golden colour with tons of large bubbles. Mild hoppy smell. Dry hoppy flavour with a very short aftertaste. More of a Pale Ale than an IPA. I don't know how this made it to the top 50 of IPA's.

Bottled. Dark amber. Flower and resiny. Very clean - near metallic - maltiness. Dry finish with lingering bitterness. This is wheat beer??

Found this one at Jungle Jim's in Fairfield, OH. My experiences with Summer Ales have been a little sketchy but this one wasn't bad at all. Flat copper color with a medium white head. Some lacing. Aroma is all hops. Mildly bitter hops flavor with a little malt to keep it in check. I honestly think they should offer this one year 'round.

The outstanding aroma of this beer made me expect much more from the taste. I have to agree to the slightly metallic aftertaste. It left a genuinely nasty taste in my mouth for at least an hour.
