Tap. Cherry and smoky malt aroma. Amber color with moderate head. Creamy cherry malt flavor with a light smoky finish. Nice flavor but a bit light.

Big thanks to jayg for bringing this growler. Pours deep copper with off white head. With the aroma I get roasted malts and a mustiness that seems to try to be peaty, nuttiness and faint alcohol. Smooth tasting with roasted malts, nuttiness and caramelized malts. Toward the finish a peatiness surfaces. The flavors go together pretty well. Yep, the peat/earthiness peaks up just a bit into the finish making it only just noticeable.

2005 Knoxville Brewer’s Jam Copper body with a fleeting white head. Slight hop aroma that is mirrored in the dry hop bite of the flavor. A bit off style, lacking a good malty backbone, but there are no real problems with this beer other than style.

Hazy amber coloured body with a thinnish off-white head. Aroma of english malt with some toffee and caramel sweetness. Medium-bodied; Strong caramel and english hoppiness flavours roaming well in the palate. Aftertaste lingers long with that good english maltiness and a subtle hoppiness (low a.a.) showing well. Overall, a nice bitter-good for the style, but not outstanding. I sampled this pint on draught at Barley’s in Knoxville, Tennessee on 03-October-2004.
