Draft/growler. Salty cucumber aroma. Medium yellow with minimal head. Sweet-salty cucumber and light malt flavor. Lightly bitter finish. Very pleasant.

Draft: Clear, pale gold with a soapy white head. Grainy malt, butter aroma. Lemongrass, butterscotch, malt taste. Very tasty.....mild.

Draft: Clear, pale gold with a moderate white head. Aroma is fresh cucumber. Taste is strong cucumber, malt.... A bit of grassy hops. Not as salty as some other cucumber beers, but conveys the essence perfectly. One of my favourite odd-ball ingredients to beer.

Tap sample @ Midwest SourWildFunkFest. Chocolate, sweet-tart lactic cherry, and musty woody aroma. Hazy chestnut with a small off-white head. Sweet chocolate, dry cocoa, woody, cherry flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Tap sample @ Midwest SourWildFunkFest. Chalky dry cocoa, sweet milk chocolate, cherry, and funky lactic aroma -- pretty darn amazing aroma. Murky dark brown with a small tan head. Sweet chocolate, funky tart lactic blackcurrant flavor. Medium body, soft carbonation.

Tap sample @ Midwest SourWildFunkFest. Super fruity tart apricot - pineapple, and light funky Belgian yeast aroma. Hazy copper with a large off-white head. Sweet fruity apricot, funky Belgian yeast flavor with an earthy finish. Light body, soft carbonation.

12oz bottle poured into a shaker. Pours a slightly cloudy pale gold with a huge white head. Aroma is grainy with a little straw. Taste is light bitter. Straw and hau with a little grassy hops. Medium bodied with a relatively thin texture. Lively carbonation and a decently long finish. Overall, not bad. Didnt blow my mind but very drinkable. Thanks stfun for the bottle.

Draft. Black body. Creamy tan head. Big aroma of chocolate, roasted grain, bourbon, vanilla, tobacco, wood. The flavor is moderately to heavily sweet and lightly to moderately bitter. It finishes moderately sweet and moderately bitter. Full body, velvety texture, moderate carbonation. Bourbon and beer are nicely balanced. Lots of flavors. Bittersweet chocolate, oak, bourbon, alcohol. It’s a bit boozy in the finish, but you don’t mind considering the complexity of aroma and flavor.

Growler: Pours very deep brown with a tan head. Aroma is coffee, mild chocolate. Taste is strong, roast coffee bitter. Piney hops. Very smooth. Good stuff.

Clear dark brown colour with a large, creamy, good lacing, fully lasting, beige head. Aroma is moderate to heavy malty, roasted, chocolate, toffee, butter, alcohol, light vanilla. Flavour is light heavy sweet and moderate bitter with a long duration, toasted, roasted, dark roasted. Body is medium, texture is oily, carbonation is soft, finish feel is light alcoholic. [20130111]
