tap at Brewhaven festival - Pours golden and has an aroma of grapefruit and ginger. It has a mostly sweet flavor with the ginger accompanied by a certain sour note. It’s a medium bodied brew that’s okay overall but I can’t say that I’m crazy about it.

aka Barrel Aged Coffee Haggard Jo (brewery has used both names) , tap at Brewhaven festival - Pours slightly hazy amber with a small, light tan head. The aroma is primarily of bourbon with the coffee and malts taking a back seat. Sweet bourbon flavors lead the taste with some coffee in the background. It’s medium bodied and very tasty. The bourbon worked well here.

Bottle. Buttery caramel malt aroma. Amber with a small tan head. Caramel malt, a little diacetyl, and big grapefruit peel hops flavor.Medium body, low carbonation. I found the hops a little harsh, and would have preferred more malt balance.

tap at Brewhaven festival - POurs hazy straw colored with some lacing. It has a mild wheat aroma with obvious peppers present. The flavor is sweet and very peppery. The spice lingers well into the finish of this light to medium bodied brew. I’m not crazy about this one but it’s okay.

tap at Brewhaven festival - Pours very dark brown and has a roast coffee aroma. Sweet malt with coffee and chocolate notes is balanced by roasted and hop bitterness and leads into a bitter coffee finish. It’s bubbly, medium bodied, and very good.

Sample at Ale Wine & Spirits in Powell on 08/09/2012. Dark brownish-pour with a thin light tan head that recedes steadily. Partial rings of lacing. Aroma of roasted malt, coffee and mild hops. Light to medium body with a roasty character and notes of chocolate malt, coffee and hops. The finish is grainy malt and coffee. Above average overall.

Tap at Brewhaven. Candied ginger and fruity honey aroma. Honey gold with a large white head. Ginger, light musty, lacto tart, fruity flavor. Light carbonated body. Absolutely wonderful beer! I’m sad that I probably won’t get to try it again, as it was a one off at the festival.

Tap at Brewhaven. Creamy lactic, fruity, chili aroma. Clear yellow with a moderate white head, creamy lacing. Creamy wheat malt flavor with a fruity chili kick. Medium body with a creamy mouth feel. I loved this stuff, but I am partial to chili beers.

tap at 800 degrees - Pours lightly hazy copper with a small white head. It has a nice citrus hop aroma. The flavor is of at least moderately strong hops bitterness with a good sweet malt balance. Citrus adds character to this flavorful, medium bodied, rather low alcohol brew.
