Golden color. The aroma is intense, fresh, fruity, flowery, with beeswax and light honey. Sweet mouthfeel, round, not syrupy; good flavor of brown sugar, some honey, light acidity (well balanced), and a fresh fruity touch.
Harmonious and very pleasant.

75 cL bottle, doesn’t say Fenrisbane on the bottle - but it must be the same as only one is made. Pours clear yellow with no head. Quite sweet honey aroma, seems rather clean with no added spices nor herbal honey notes. Flavour starts rather sweet with a very soft honey flavour with no classic honey herbalness. Mild warming alcohol finish but not overly so as the mead remains rather sweet. Lovely.

Bottled at RBESG-06, GTN. It pours clear, pale golden, with no head. Alcohol, sulphur, honey and sugar in the aroma. The flavor is quite sweet, with honey and sugar, and no alcohol. Medium body and a finish with alcohol, sugar and honey. A bit boring compared to Apis Poltorak, but quite drinkable. (060826)

A light yellow mead with no head. The aroma is strong with a weird honey note combined with pollen - too much for me. The flavor is dry sweet with strong notes of honey, combined with a very strong alcohol presence, which makes the alcohol burn slightly in the throat.

Bottled. Golden colour, not much head. Strong alcohol in aroma, mixed with honey. Flavour is just honey and alcohol. Not too exciting, but it is drinkable. And I like honey .)

(Bottle 75 cl) Clear and golden and flat. Somewhat impure honey aroma. Very full body with extremely sweet honey notes and again this unclean tang. Not overly pleasant. 260806
